These are the Ballsiest Carmakers

Did you ever notice how the cars are getting more and more similar to each other? That there are no clear differences anymore between German cars, Japanese cars or American cars?
Also like the fashion in the clothing, for example the fashion of the jeans, which for a couple of years is skinny then trapeze, then skinny again, the carmakers also have a succession of "Egg-shape" then "Box-shape", and all over again.
Or does it piss you off when a beautiful, shiny Audi A8 sailing trough in front of you, just to realize that it wasn't an A8, but an A4....An A4, not even an A6!
Car manufacturers today choose the uniformity.
There is almost NO difference from outside of the compact, mid-size and full-size under the same Brand, besides their size.

Most of the times nothing is changing.
American cars are copying Japanese cars, European Carmakers are making everything so damn correct that they again, all look the same.
It wasn't always like this!
It used to be a time when every car had a personality, something artistic, something unique.
I mean just look at this Cadillac Eldorado of a time, when the King was still singing the " I Want You, I Need You, I Love You ". Isn't it beautiful?

Now you might ask me, why do I talk about boring things, when the main picture of this article is an uber-super-extravagant ...something.... Cause it is not a car, right? It cannot be a car of the today standards. It actually has style!
Yes. Style...
I would like to give credit here for some Car manufacturers for going out of their comfort zone and tried to bring back the long lost "soul", the style.
Do you remember when Ford introduced a redesigned 2005 model year Mustang ?
Developed under the direction of Chief Engineer Hau Thai-Tang, a veteran engineer for Ford's IndyCar program under Mario Andretti, the fifth-generation Mustang's styling echoes the fastback Mustang models of the late-1960s. Ford called it "retro-futurism."

It got the love right away! just look at it! ( it is behind the showroom lady). It was daring, it was bold and it worked.
Ford Mustang sales was rocketing high. The courage has paid off.
In fact it was so successful that the other 2 members of the American Car Triumvirate followed the example soon.
Enter the redesigned Camaro and Challenger.
Even Al Pacino and Optimus Prime couldn't say no to those cars. They accepted them in the team.
Stand Up Guys came forth while Bumblebee was humming trough.

Look at these cars, they did it. While Europeans and the Asian Car Makers was sticking to their conservative design, and every VW looked like any other Hyundai and Toyota, on the other side of the world there was a revolution about to explode.
This revolution gave birth to cars in California like the Tesla Model S and the Fisker Karma... What?? 22 Inch wheels, cubistic interior. Yes.

To be fair, the "conservative " automakers are waking up as well in a way.
Good example the BMW I8. To be even more outstanding, its a Hybrid.

While for example Chevrolet doing a good job creating and up-keeping a nice style at the Camaro and the Corvette, it also follows the conventional business model, which seams like ruling our world today. Just try to differentiate the Impala from the Malibu or from the new Cruze. I dare you.
I applaud GM on the other hand for what it did with the Cadillac brand. It went back to the roots.
Cadillacs of today are elegant, sharp and luxurious, and most of all, you know right away if there is one behind you on a freeway or in front of you.
They actually have a design.

To the current car-designers: Keep up the good work, and we are looking forward to see more exciting art pieces coming off the line in the near future.
