When the Lincoln Continental concept made its surprise debut at the New York auto show last spring I was pleasantly surprised, because this is the direction Lincoln should have gone, long time ago.
Instead Ford, the Lincoln parent company was using Japanese cars imitating rounded style, and re-badging their Ford models with slightly modifications...No wonder they had no success and the luxury brand was at the verge of bankruptcy.

The grille, with a mesh pattern that echoes the Lincoln logo, already familiar to us from the other models the company has. The door handles do not have conventional hand pockets; instead, the chrome belt-line molding curves out to form the handle. The seats have 30-way adjustment, including separately adjustable support for the driver’s right and left thighs. The Continental rear-seat positions offer heating, cooling, recline, and massage functions.

The Continental power-plant is a new—and Lincoln-exclusive—3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 making 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.
Safety features include frontal collision warning with pedestrian detection, autonomous emergency braking and a 360-degree parking camera.

All over is a handsome design, and I do welcome it from my heart. Finally Lincoln stepped into the path in which the Cadillac for example started a while ago, going back to its roots, going back to its tradition, for what is used to stand. Time has come to reclaim the long lost respect.
