Five years ago, Aston Martin with Zagato planned to make one of the most beautiful car on the market, the Vantage-based V12 Zagato.
All five Zagatos have been inspired by tradition: from the emblematic DB4 GT Zagato of 1960 through to the V12 Vantage Zagato of 2011.
This model has debuted last weekend at the prestigious Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, held at Lake Como.

The car is based on the Vanquish, which comes with a six-liter, 569-horsepower V-12. Styling is a mix between Aston and at Zagato in Milan, bringing out Zagato trademarks like the twin-bubble roof and the wraparound windshield profile, while preserving Aston Martin's grille and headlamps. At the back, there's a retractable spoiler along with taillights that are supposed to reassemble the Aston's Vulcan hypercar.

The V12 engine has 600ps (592hp), with enhanced engine systems and chassis dynamics that make driving the thing almost as exciting as just looking at it.
There is no pricing on it just yet, but you can bet that it will be above roughly $450,000.
